It is used when a person or a small group of persons needs to hold meetings involving people speaking a language different to his or hers while visiting a foreign country. In this type of setting, the interpreter will escort the visitor to each corresponding location where the meeting is to be held, will assist in any matter related to said meeting and will interpret for him or her. This type of interpretation often implies a more informal setting as compared to the previous ones.
